Trev we just bought the same Cadac and with exception of the skottle, which has its own bag, I followed the instruction book guide "Storing and Carrying" section 12 page 13. All fitted ok with the accessory tray in the outside pocket. I cannot get the gas hose and regulator in so that will live in the front locker.

If I leave out the lid & stottle everything else fits in - including 2m of hose & a camping gaz reg. Also carry a spanner as disconnecting the gas hose fitting on the cadac makes it fit better.

Ok, Ok, Ok. I too have just bought a carri chef deluxe after reading all the posts. I just have to find out if this bit of kit is as good as people make out. Now let's see....that's the gas bbq packed, the charcoal bbq packed (oh I can't resist a real fire from time to time) and the Cobb packed. Now, have I missed anything? Ok, Norfolk and Suffolk will have their first Michelin charred Caravan Club sites this August. EEhaaa!!! Butler.

Hi Sorry to highjack this topic, but can you tell me if you can connect the Cadac Easy Chef BBQ, to the external bbq point on our caravan or does it have to have it's own gas supply and regulator.

Thanks

Graham. Yes you can connect to the van gas outlet, but get a longer peice of pipe to keep it away from the van or awning.About 2 mtrs will do. J.Lo
