Cadac carri chef de lux brass connector

Hi , we have just brought a cadac bbq as our van has a side gas tap, we use it and love it , I made up a hose to connect to the cadac from the caravan, no-one tells you which special connector you need, some sort of push in one, but I got it in the end. We also like to use the cadac at home , I agree not proper barbi but SO easy. To do this I take out the gas bottle and got a propane regulator , new hose, now for my question, so as I do not have to take the brass connector direct off the cadac hose every time does anyone know where I can get another brass screw on connector, tried a number of places and even the importers , but they are just an answerphone and never called back, thank you for any advice anyone has.

The cadac I have has a left hand threaded nut over the bayonet.I rang up riverside where I bought it from and they sent me one FOC.

Thanks David, got my Cadac from Riversway, not sure if that is where you ment, as I could not find riverside , but all now sorted, great service and price for the cadac and great service for the connector from Riversway, the part is exactly as you described , you put in words better than I did, they did make a small charge , you must have got the last FOC one !
