Have tried to exchange calor gas cannisters for calor lite only to be told they are not available in Northern Ireland nor will they be. However I have been told by the main Calor office in Belfast if I buy them in GB I can get them refilled. Are they worth this hassle or not? Thanks

There have been several postings on the availability (or lack of it) of Calor Lite in recent days.

To answer your question, probably not.

It depends if weight is an issue or not? not just for nose weight i changed as i found it difficult to put the old steel ones into the front locker,with the lighter bottles much easier for me
 
Yes I even emailed Calor NI and was told that they have no intention of ever marketing Calor Lite in Northern Ireland. This angers me as yet another example of companies treating NI UK citizens as second class. While no lighter, I have changed my gas cylinders to Flo Gas as I no longer want to give Calor any of my money.
