I agree the CC sites at Crystal Palace and Abbey Wood are very good with easy access to the centre. Also worth considering are the C&CC sites at Chertsey and Walton on Thames.

The clubs allow non members on some of the sites but the charge for non members where they do is so high that you might as well join.

If you are staying more than 5 nights it pays to join as you avoid the non-members charge. From Abbey Wood you can get overland train into London and to tourist spots on the river. From Crystal Palace there is a bus to Trafalgar square. Walton on Thames site is lovely but a long walk to the station and bus.

Great replies there. Another is California Touring Park or how about Lee Valley? Hopefully with those answers you'll be able to find something – it probably depends where you're coming from, which bits of London you're looking to visit and how far you're happy to walk to a Tube/train station.
