does anyone know if the ccl insurance is any good?

bought our first caravan this year and took out insurance through the C&CC the first quote was in line with everyone else, when we found a storage site to keep it on i rang them and told them the new location and they said because it was a secure gold location i was due a refund of

We bought an Abbey 495 which was unfortunately involved in last years flooding. We had insured via C&CC and had a 'new for old' policy and the caravan was three months old at the time of the flood.

Within the same week of the flood the insurance assesor had viewed the caravan and declared it a total loss.

Throughout the whole episode the C&CC insurance representative kept us fully informed and their dealings with us were completely honest and transparent.

There was no quibble or delay when it was time for them to fund our new caravan for the

Totally agree with Parksy we also lost a 2 month old caravan in the floods,They paid out in full without any fuss and even managed to get a new van and were able to still go to France as when I told them we were booked to go on holiday they paid out in less than 3 weeks.

Fortunately never claimed (yet) but when I asked a technical question via e-mail got a comprehensive response at 0930 the following morning and three days later a manager from the club phoned me to make sure I had been treated properly. Excellent customer service.
