Hi Everyone,

Im looking to purchase a whole set up, from aqua rolls, to awning and reading reviews on everything i can.

Im looking for advice on camping chairs for heavier people. My daughter is fine with anything but id like something to carry my 120Kg weight. Ive read a few reviews and got some shortlisted chairs but im looking for suggestions from the people that actually use them long term

We had some for our well built son. I can’t remember the make and tbh it was so long ago that anything I say may not be relevant now. However, where possible trying them out before buying was a good strategy, as they were not all as comfortable as they looked.
My only observation was that they were of necessity wider in the seat and back and therefore some thought about transport and storage was important.

Most camping type chairs have a max weight listed.
If you want quality and durability you can't go wrong with Lafuma, but, like isabella awnings, they dont come cheap.

Plus +1 for Lafuma, we have had ours since 2001 and even now they are the go to chairs when we have summer BBQs........ they are even in our Wills, that's how confident we are wrt their longevity :ROFLMAO:

That’s a safe weight limit of 23 1/2 stone. Must be substantial pieces of kit? Will they erode my payload?

Are you giving up on the caravanning, or is it spare items your getting rid of?
Spare that we no longer use as now we normally used fully serviced pitches and the sun canopy. Couple of other bits and pieces accumulated over the years.

I know how you feel, three ehu cables, 4 different BBQ's, 2 sets of Cadac legs. Etc.
