We are thinking about camping in Amboise at the Camping D'Ille d'r in August but have read bad reviews about security. does anyone have any experience bad or good about the site?
 
Sorry don't know about the security but from a stay many years ago - take plenty of insect repellant - nice to be near the river - but....
