As most of you are aware, I have had a horrible experience this past week with a certain Caravan Dealer based in Mansfield, Notts. My experience is posted under "Buyers Guide"
Whilst, we are always there to publicise the bad customer service we receive, we do not seem to comment on the good service that we have received.
After out caravan sale fell through on Friday, we had to go and purchase another caravan at the weekend. This presented us with another problem. The brand new Bradcot awning, still sitting in its box in our hallway.
We purchased the awning from Camping International based in kent. It was a telephone order, and we got a really good deal on a Bradcot Classic awning (975). On placing the order the staff were extremely helpful, advising me on the best carpet to purchase etc ...
Yesterday, I called and spoke to Andy (Department Manager) and explained what had happened with our Caravan and would the awning that we had purchased (975) be big enough. Andy, didn't know the answer straight away. He was going to call Isabella Awnings as they have a better idea on awning sizes etc.
However, because we have purchased an Adria caravan for some reason Isabella wasn't 100% sure on the exact size we would need. Isabella then telephoned their branch in Denmark, which answered our questions that our new awning size was (987).
Andy called me back to explain this and to say that we would need a Bradcot (990). They are collecting the old awning tommorow and delivering the new one all for only £25.
I cannot praise them or recommend them enough, they have been so helpful. So thank you Camping International, and also a big thank you to Isabella.
