Campsite Municipal La Chànaie

It's that time of the year again, looking for pastures new and decided that this is the year we want to investigate Laon.

We are considering Campsite Municipal La Chànaie for a couple of nights, found one British report which was quite good but several German and and Dutch reviews were quite poor.

Anyone with any opinions?

We stopped overnight at this site earlier this month. We thought the site was fine with good sanitary facilities - although expensive for what you got at euro 15.30 for two with electrics.

We used our 2007 Caravan Club Europe 1 site guide for directions. I don't know if they have changed the directions but in the 2007 edition they are very confusing. We suggest - "Leave A26 at junction 13 and head towards Laon. Straight over three r'bouts. At fourth r'bout, turn right (sign Laon-Semilly). At next r'bout turn left into site road (about 8 miles from m'way)"

Laon is certainly an interesting town.
