Campsite near Lincoln?

Can anyone recommend a campsite as near as possible to the city of Lincoln please? A CL would be nice but any other recommendations would be very helpful. Many thanks.

Hi Annie

I've stopped here. There's just hookup, water and waste emptying.

Easy access, plenty of wildlife, nice quiet site. Lincoln is about four miles away. There's plenty of shops about three miles away without going into Lincoln itself. It's near the showground.

We use West Lodge Lake when we have our caravan serviced. It is about 3 miles from the city center

Try Hartsholme Country Park, it is run by the Lincolnshire council, has elec hooks up, showers, clean loos, and as its name suggests, is in a lovely country park, that was once the grounds of a stately home. It is about one and half miles from city centre, and a bus route is just at the main entrance.

Thanks for all your replies - sorry I haven't thanked you before - just got home after a week in very hot South Wales - can thoroughly recommend Pembrey CC site.

South Cliff Farm, as mentioned above is lovely - very easy for Lincoln and in lovely rural surroundings.

Thanks for all your advice - I have booked South Cliff Farm. It'll be our first stay on a CL. A bit apprehensive but we're looking forward to it.
