Campsites in Languedoc Roussillon area.

Hello All,

Can anyone please recommend a nice campsite in the Languedoc Roussillion area of France?

Preferably a beach front one with tennis courts, and a nice pool.

We are going the end of June, and cannot make our minds up on a campsite yet! Any recommendations would be gratefully received.

Best Wishes,

Jonah.

Portragnes,Camping les Mimosas quite a big commercial site, with a superb pool complex and direct access to sandy beach we had a great week here last year.

The shop on site is very expensive go over the road to local stores 5 mins walk saves a good 10%

Hello Simon F,

Many thanks for your reply, much appreciated.

We will have a look at that, thanks.

Best wishes,

Jonah.

We have stayed at Les Sablons at Portiragnes Plage before (but not in the last 5 yrs and plan to visit it this June. I see it is listed in the ACSI site book at 15euro per night. They were improving it every year we were there although we only ever stayed in a static van before. Great place.

Hello Graham,

Thankyou for your reply, much appreciated.

I think that we have decided on Les Sablons, and we will be looking into the ACIS card. Thanks again.

Best wishes,

Jonah.

Twit that I am I meant Les Sablons not Mimosa.......... have a great time you can book a pitch by the entrance to the beach but they are popular and none of the touring pitches are that far away anyway

Hello Simon F,

Thankyou for your reply. We think that we have FINALLY decided now on Les Sablons, we are also going to spend some time in the ardeche area on the way home and think we will possibly stay at Les Rivages. It has taken us a long time deciding this year!

Thanks again, happy hols!

Jonnah.
