campsites on route to vendee

Hi all, can anybody recommend a site to break up our journey from calais to the vendee? I would ideally like to slpit the travel time in two days. Any sites on or near the N138 would be useful. Oh yes how long will it take? All the route planers say approx 7.5 hours, is this realistic?

Yes 7.5 hours is realistic, but why from Calais for the Vendee, you can avoid the trip round Paris if you use St Malo fron Portsmouth or the Condor service from Weymouth or Poole( also cheaper).

Driving time from St Malo to Challans in Vendee (20 minutes inland from St Jean de Monts)is about 3 or 3.5 hours. I regularly take 2hours 15 driving solo it is about 135 miles.

We stayed at Camping Municipal de Guerame Alencon 234 miles from calais. We stayed 2 days and walked into town along the adjacent river-all very pleasant. To the Vendee is about another 200 miles depending on destination. With a caravan 7.5 hours for the whole journey is not realistic. I would estimate it at 11+.
