Can any one recomend ( Eurovent Veranda porch awning )

Hello !

Can anyone recommend these porch awnings that I have found its a ....Eurovent Veranda.... Being relatively new to all of this, and never having had a awning before, any way I've measured the van and this will fit without resting on any of the windows ( I've been told that they will scratch ? )

Has any body got any views on this one ??

I have had a Eurovent porch awning for several years now and apart from the replacement of pole clamps (I tend to be a bit heavy handed)it has been excellent. I probably use it about 8 times a year and even the snow at easter did not affect it. I like it as it has internal and external pegging and I can even erect it on my own.

Hi Alb....

How does it seal against the side of the van please ?? Also does it have the skirt that fits up against the bottom of the van ?? Or it that an extra....

The seal aganst the van is by canvas covered foam pad, dont know if the skirt is extra or not as I had it second hand from relations, it was a year old at that time

The only thing to remember that the foam pad does not seal as well as the seal obtained when using the awning rail

Just a thought if the awning does not come with the skirting it can bought very chealy from a spares shop

I have just bought one, . now for the fun . the awning rail is 8' from the floor & and I can't reach it from the top of the double caravan step . I have assembled the frame and marked it up . all we need now is a bit better weather to try it on the van .

I have the same problem but I dont have too much difficulty, remember you dont have to reah the awning rai just somewhere near it if your rail is clean, good luck I shall be using mine next week end
