Can you recommend a Vets in Ardres France

Hello, I am looking to stay at the St Lois Site at Ardres before emarking on the Ferry back to England. We will need to book our dog into the vets prior to sailing. I am aware there are several Vets practicing in Ardres but wondered if someone could make a recommendation and provide contact details for one and preferably one that speaks English.

This is the one you want, situated in the town square, plenty of parking but only a twenty minute walk from the site.
Excellent friendly staff and English spoken, just send them an email with your preferred date and you will receive a reply in English.

Our ferry sailing time is 10.30am on the 20th July. Would you recommend trying to book in for the vets on the 18th or do you think the 19th will be okay for the required time scales following the dogs treatment.If posssible I don't want to spend more than two nights at the St Loius Site.
Also when considering the 24 - 48 hour rule should you consider ferry booking in time or sailing time. I have heard they are very strict on this and this is our first time with a pet abroad.

I would suggest the late afternoon of the 18th would be better, it gives plenty of time either side of the 24-48 hour window. I've always assumed that the critical thing is the time the dogs are checked at the port. For the tunnel this is the very first thing done, before you check in. Once the dogs have been checked I presume there can be no reason for preventing boarding such as the sailing being delayed beyond the 48 hours. We also use the Camp Du Drap D'Or vets and have had no problems.

I normally get to the port an hour before sailing. Would you advise earlier than this when a pet has to be checked in. Does anyone know what the proceedure is on arrival at the port ?
