Hi

I have had a reversing line up stick with a small flag on it for years. But have mislaid the item. You know the sort of thing I mean so you can reverse back to the towing hitch on your caravan on your own. Can you still purchase these item and where.

I know what you mean but I am not sure if you can still buy them. I found that by linning up a point on the rear of the car with a point on the van I can reverse and hitch up solo without a problem.
 
Make your own - all you need is a thin cane with suitable clip to fit the hitch. Paint white or red. For even better system add old tow ball cover fitted with a similar upright stick, of which you can see the top from the driving seat. Then all you have to do is bring the two sticks together.

Before i fitted a mover, i used such a set for many years. The "sticks" were the telescopic arms of an old portable radio / TV antenna, which meant the whole thing folded down to about 6" long.

I will have a go at that.I have a old car aerial it folds down. Connecting to the AL-Ko 1300 will be the problem. Will have to go to B&Q See what I can Find.

hi Stephen,

you can buy this type of flag at Halfords, or most bike shops. they use them on bike trailers to make cars are aware that you are towing!!!
