Can't wait...........................

Hi to everyone, new to this forum and starting caravaning on Tuesday! we pick up our brand new bargain Fleetwood on Tuesday and are going away the following week. We were avid campers until last year when we had the horror week of all weeks, went to the lakes and it did nothing but rain!! MUD,MUD AND MORE MUD...............all that was missing was the live stage and it could have been Glastonbury. How nice it would have been to have come home to the caravan and sit in a nice warm DRY place, roll on Summer.

Hi Simon

Welcome to the forum and to the world of caravanning. We can't promise to help with the mud situation but good advice is always on offer via the forum from your fellow caravanners.

Did you buy your Fleetwood from a dealers or is it a private sale?

Wish you all the best. A caravan can be easier to heat than a house. So cosy! Gives you the energy and inner heat to put the coats on and get out on the beach in many weathers! We are really enjoying ours. We have had mud experiences too. When I put down a very breathable groundsheet in bad floods. Worms were coming through it too! Ugh I can`t think about it! We have a bit more experience now but even so....more stories to tell
