High Folks,Want to put cover on van again this Winter,but last year the wind rocking the cover broke the status aeriel.I had to replace the base plate,any ideas how to stop it repeating

itself this year.Thanks,Fred.

Fred, yes, remove the status, leaving the base plate in situ, and plug the hole with the blanking plug you should have got with the aerial.

If you have not go the plug, Grade do them, mail order.

Thanks for that Damian, i think that has to be the safest bet.I had to take it off last year in the end to fit the new Base plate anyway, cheers.
