Caravan Alarm

Hi all, can anyone recomend a good caravan alarm. I dont want to pay a fortune but its worth an extra 20% off insurance premiums.

i dont think for 1 minuite it will deter a thief but the more security you have the better

I was told by my insurer (caravan guard) to buy an alarm from Argos that would reduce my premium. The alarm would cost
 
We have a simple 'shed alarm ' purchased at the local police station - similar ones available at B&Q - which I fitted with an on/off switch to save battery power whilst we are in the 'van. Also two flashing red L.E.D.s rigged so that they can be seen through the door window especially at night.
 
Anything that helps is to be commended, but considering that cars have all sorts of alarms fitted and the amount of notice given when one goes off, is minimal does suggest that if the thief wants your van this is not likely to stop him/her, especially if you are not at home
