I am thinking od installing an alarm on our 'van. I am looking at either a Sol-alarm or a Keen Concept - does anyone have any experience of fitting one of these.

How easy are they? Do you need any extras?

Any suggestions on others I should consider also appreciated.
 
Sorry I don't know anything about the two systems you mention. But suggest you check with your insurance company that a DIY installation will meeet any requirements they may have.

The CC caravan insurance does have such a requirement - at least to qualify for the alram fitted discount. one system they like is SAS which I have fitted without undue trouble, although getting the wires all tucked away neatly can be very time-consuming.
