Hi folks

We plan on travelling all over the UK and want to track all the lovely (and not so) places we have visited,

Is there any nice UK wall maps, especially for holiday goers, to track all the places with pins?

Don’t shoot the messenger, not my idea this time :censored:

No if you click on a place, you get a Red, locator, then you can save it and lab it.
You can save it as a favourite, a want to go or whatever.

Steve1962 might know the site.

You should then be able to Bluetooth the map display to a large screen Tv, then play from your photo albums pictures of the selected holiday as a slide show. Me I’m still transferring slides from 1985 to my IPhotos albums. Only another 20 years to go before I went to a digital camera, but at some point prior to that the photos came back from the local camera shop with a CD enclosed. I’ve not reached that point yet. 😂

In this paperless society - joke - and as a keen photographer I ensure that at least some of my photos are geotagged with the location. Very easy to do with a smart phone but equally possible with my dSLR and many others.

The software I use to organise and process the images has a map facility so I can see where I was when I took the shots. Not a wall map obviously but still records where and when. Printable if you wish.

I believe even apps like Google Photos has this capability of pinning where you were.

I then produce video slideshows of our trips which are then stored on our media player and often in the winter months we'll replay some of these. The location data is extracted from the images and used as titles for the slideshows.
