Caravan Club Sites

Hi Mac
We go every year and it's always full. A lot of the pitches have beautiful sea views. I've never seen so much hitching and pitching as people change pitch as soon as a good view one is vacated. Facilities are excellent although if you are in the far field you are a reasonable walk away.
The site buts onto the coastal path so walks to Tintagel and Boscastle can be done. If you are feeling lazy a local bus will drop you off at the entrance to to site.
If you can get booked go for it .

Booked St Agnes beacon last weekend for July/August. A bit further down the coast from Trewethett.
Never been but it has sea views so hoping it will be ok.
On another point I also booked some of the May bank hols at other CC sites last weekend, no probs, I don't understanbd the fuss being made on other threads about no space at bank hols.

St Agnes is an excellent site and better value if you don't use or need a toilet block.There are some pleasant walks from the site and it's well placed to visit anywhere in Cornwall by car.
St Agnes village has some good shops and the bakery has some of the best pasties I have tasted !

Thanks for the info, I've just booked 2 weeks in Jul. One thing puzzles me about the site booking, there are 2 catogories 'with awning' & 'without awning' For the dates I've booked almost all the'without awnimgs are booked whilst the 'with awning' are all free I've never seen this distinction on a Club site before. Does anybody know the reason? I can't get an definative answer from the Club, other than to talk to the Warden.

It occurs where you are facing good views, the front row no awnings to spoil the views of the caravans situated behind them.
