Caravan cover - protecting the windows?

We will be fitting our Specialised Accessories cover this coming winter and would appreciate any advice as to how to secure the soft fabric which they supplied and which is designed to protect the windows from stratches.

I assume that the fabric is cut oversize to the window and the edges then tucked in and the window is closed.

I wondered whether this is the right thing to do and if it might put a strain on the window fasteners?

Any advice would be appreciated - Thanks!

I'm slightly intrigued by the extra window covers supplied by SA - is the interior surface of the cover rough enough to scratch the van???

I don't have an SA cover, but bought one last year from a small firm in Dawlish (Devon) who specialise in covers for exhibition vehicles. It was only just over

Hi Selwyn - Thanks for your reply. The cover we have sounds similar material to the one you have. The reason for considering abrasion to the windows was not from the cover itself but from any grime or dirt which may get in and then be sandwiched between the cover and the window. 🙂
