Hi Robert,

We bought a cover for our caravan to help protect our investment as we bought the van from new. I wouldn't be without it now, some people say they make the van sweat, but I have not noticed this at all. It keep sth van nice and clean, so next time you use or after a winter lay up, its looks great and no slending a whole weekend cleaning it. It also protects the van from the worst of the weather. Water can still get through, but the cover prevents the worst of the wind and rain. Just make sure to cover the windows with cling film,as the cover moving can scratch them and cover any sharp objects that could damage the cover.

Hope this helps

We've used clingfilm for years with our old cover with no problem and never any rub marks but we've just upgraded to a new cover by Caravan Specialities Covers who recommended not to use anything and this spring I had a lot of trouble rubbing up the windows to get rid of the clouding. But I would always recommend using a cover as they keep the caravan in such good condition and certainly saves on UV deteriation on the mastic and rubbers.
