Caravan Cover

Has anyone experience of a Specialist Accessory caravan cover for a Bailey Pageant Vendee. Especially getting it on and off over the Status aerial? We've had a quote for one and would appreciate members thoughts before we go ahead and buy. Many thanks, Sara.

Hi Sara, we had a "specialised accessories" cover for a Bailey Senator a few years ago, we thought it was a really good cover, we have just ordered a new cover for our new Buccaneer Argosy.

Excellent covers, really good fit, we would recommend them.

If you are a CC member you will get a 10% discount too!

Hope this helps Andrew & Sally.

I have a Specialist cover for my Senator. It's great and keeps the van clean and stops UV damage through the windows. Fitting can be a pain though. I have two extendable poles with broom heads attatched. With these you can pull the cover over without too much difficulty. We find it is easier to put it on from the rear of the van first. Keep an eye on the parts of the cover that wear. Surprisingly they are at the touch points where the aluminium bars are fitted to join the roof to the front and rear of the van. Glue additional pieces of the cover (repair patch supplied) to these touch points.

Thank you both for your comments and Terry for your fitting instructions. We are going to consider the purchase first as it is certainly quite an outlay.

Regards,

Sara
