caravan covers

Is it worth investing in a caravan cover for winter storage? Anyone used this company www.caravancovers.com? Or could anyone recommend other companies. Thanks

Kevin, I have a Protec cover which came with the caravan, the first winter I didn,t use it but did over this last winter. I cannot believe that I was so unaware of the benefits of using it as the van was spotless when the cover was taken off. This cover has a soft lining and left no marks, scratches or damage to any part of the caravan. I am unaware of the company you mention but they may offer a similar product.

Cheers, Tony

Our cover came from Specialised Accessories, expensive, but worth it. The caravan emerged this year clean without any mildew mould or manky green areas and smelt fresh inside. Make sure you get a breathable cover which allows air to pass through so that any condensation build up dries away. Our cover usage is two fold one to keep the van clean and the second to help disguise it when ther are no leaves on the trees which hide it at the moment. Keeps the neighbours happy. Have fun putting it on

Thanks for the advice guys. I will check out the companies you both suggest. I will make sure it has a soft lining and put the expense down as a good investment. I like the idea of a clean caravan in the Spring!
