Hi Katie,

One final thing - buy a silver cover - if you can live with it.

The silver fabric seems to reflect sunlight better than the green or red alternatives - maybe this helps the fabric resist fading and photochemical ageing, or maybe it's just that the green or red fabric absorb more light; but for whatever reason, silver seems to hold up best over the years.

Check if the "cheap and cheerful" ones have a door and is it in the right place?

We use a Protec made to measure one with the velcro door in the right place, which is a boon as we store the caravan at home and sometimes need to get in and out easily.
