Recently took our caravan cover off only to find blotches on the windows and paintwork. This didn,t happen the first year we used it and we ensured it was dry before we put the cover on. Any comments please.
We never use caravan cover other say they are good but they got to breath air in +out, we use Fenwick"s overwintering caravan storage fluid it great, you can still use the van thro the winter with the stuff on, we do, make sure you clean the van first before you put the overwintering on, go on try it you will be please we was, Trevor
Caravan covers are NOT waterproof. They must be able to breathe soo making sure the van was dry would be immaterial. With the advent of slightly warmer weather, any moisture inside would try and evaporate, but as the daytime heat is not very long at this time of year, not very effectively, and would condense on the coldest parts of the van, giving a pretty good breeding ground for algae etc.
