Hi our new van is now 8mnths old and seems to have passed the "rain in test". I am now thinking about a cover for it.

Is there truly a waterproof cover? Are there any downsides? Some companies offer roof only covers which seems like a good idea, anyone with a view? I would be most grateful!

Hi Andrew, first i must point out that a "waterproof cover" must be avoided at all cost as it will encourage condensation & possibly cause Damp in the van, all covers specificaly made for caravans are "breathable" in order to prevent condensation. they vary from tailor made @ around

I have just ordered a cover for my Pageant from Pro-tec. We had one from them for our previous van. We had no problems with condensation or damage to the van. Pro-tec are one of the only three suppliers whose covers are approved by Bailey Caravans who have a third of the caravan market. The others are Specialised Accesories and Purpleline. It pays to buy quality.
