You will need two separate and different systems. A front and rear dashcam for the car and a reverse camera for the caravan.

thanks - I had figured that would probably be the case. I’m after any recommended brands that are good quality out there. There are so many out there that are inexpensive but get poor reviews. Just want something that will be a keeper for a few years even if the cost is higher

We have the Nextbase 622 in our car and in the other the Nextbase380. The 622 is far superior. Can't comment on the camera for the caravan as never installed one.

Like Buckman I’ve got a Nextbase but the 522GW for the car and it’s now been superseded. But until its successor was introduced the 522Gw was probably the best out there based on reviews and awards.

I bought one of These wireless rear view camera set ups, it works very well indeed. Happy to reccomend them to anyone else. I sikaflexed the camera mount high up on the back wall and drilled a single hole to take the cable through. Camera comes with tge correct grommet that seals perfectly. Monitor sits over the rear view mirror, so it's just like tge caravan isn't there. Just be sure to pick the 60⁰ lens, not the wide view one!
(I have no connection with them, just very pleased with both the product and customer service)
Another vote for Nextbase as a dash cam as well.

Its the solar wireless reversing camera, i can highly recommend it, search on here for it as i have posted photos of it.
