Man seriously hurt in caravan fire in Buxton
A man has been taken to hospital with serious burns after he escaped from a fire at a stationary caravan in Derbyshire.
Crews were called to the domestic caravan on the A623 road at Dove Holes in Buxton at about 0635 GMT.
Police said the 41-year-old man suffered 30% burns. He was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.
The cause of the fire is not being treated as suspicious, police said.
It is understood two dogs were at the scene and are being cared for by the RSPCA.

Hi LMH

Its sad news whenever any body is hurt, and pets are left without a keeper even on a temporary basis. If this was the reason for your posting then join my thoughts to yours for the people and animals involved.

Other wise I’m not sure why you posted it, because its written rather strangely, A stationary caravan – do they mean a Static or Mobile Home? Or were you trying to link it to a failing of some equipment?

Perhaps you would like to add some further detail to the posting?

Hi

It was just a news article. Must have been terrible for the man who received 30% burns.

You don't hear of many caravan fires these days.
