caravan flooring

having just bought my first caravan, I decided to take out the carpet and replace with new flooring. i have started to put down some westco vinyl wood effect planks, because its easier for me. After going to the caravan show at the nec I noticed all the flooring was cushion flooring you would buy on a roll. Have I done the wrong thing? Can anyone advise me before I carry on. Most grateful Jan

It depends on how good you are at laying the planking

It would be a lot easier I would have thought to do vinyl sheeting.

You could have problem with clearance under doors/bed locker fronts.

Janice,

you will also need to remember that the wooden flooring is adding to the weight of your caravan which will reduce the amount of gear you can load in the van

thats for your reply, I have to say its easier for me to lay this type of flooring because I can cut it with a scissor, i'm not very good with a stanley knife, my main concern was the actual type of flooring. thanks Jan
