Caravan Layout?

Hi, I'm new here so please don't bite.

We have an unusual want (I guess) for a new van, but can't find anything to match.

Firstly, my tow car is a Vectra 1.9 CDTI and whilst I'm used to towing a large trailer tent about, I want to stick loosely to the 85% rule for now so Max Load is about 1300kg.

Secondly, I have two boys(sometimes) so I need either a 4 or 5 berth. We need the ability to be able to screen off our bedroom from the kids.

Finally, we want the bathroom OUT of the bedroom.

I have sort of narrowed down a lot of the Bailey range (simply because they do screens that a lot of manufacturers seem to ignore privacy) but have the following issues:

Bailey Ranger 460/4: Plus: Fixed Bed Negative: Bathroom in Bedroom

Bailey Pageant Bordeaux: As above

Bailey Pageant Provence: Plus: Ticks all boxes Negative: Too heavy

Probably the best I've found is Ranger 500/5, but I'm concerned that the rear bed may be too small (when we need to use it)

Anyone know any other companies that make light(ish) 'vans with privacy screens?

Stu - Elddis Avante or Odyssey 505 or the equivalant Compass Corona or Omega should provide the layout your are looking for May be worth a look if you are considera used model, our 2002 model had an MTPLM of 1250kgs however newer models i thing would be took would be too heavy at around 1350kg.

Our previous van was a delaer special edition based on the Avante 505 - the rear dinette could be used as a fixed bed or additional seating area and we ofer had 4 adults on board. In such instances we closed over the doors for privacy.

Good shout. Many thanks.

I'm still undecided about whether or not to buy new or secondhand anyways so this gives me more options.
