caravan levelling

I have trouble with the lateral levelling of my caravan - fore and aft is no problem using the jockey wheel. The problem is due to the difficulty of using a wheel ramp while trying to line up the socket for the Alko through-wheel lock which requires quite a high level of precision. To date I have resorted to putting on the wheel-lock before jacking up the 'van and then lowering it onto the ramp or levelling planks which is quite a palaver. I am considering the purchase of a wind up leveller which seem to provide a relatively hassle-free solution. Would this be a sensible purchase?

yes i have one of these made by bulldog. its great and really handy on sloping pitches. simple to use, just slide it under the wheel of your parked van and use the corner steady handle to wind it up to a level, takes less that 5 mins and much easier than using planks of wood like i did before!!
