Caravan Number Plates

Having just changed my towing car, I will have to obtain a different number plate for the van. The sticky pads usually found on these plates don't seem all that reliable, so other than screws, can anyone suggest a really reliable glue or other method for peace of mind.

Norman

I've never had any bother with the sticky pads. In fact getting the dregs off the back of the no plate was quite hard.

Cheers

Alan

I have a roll of double sided tape that I got from a motor factors, I use this for my car numberplates as I don't like the look of numberplate screws. I have used this method for years and never lost a plate.

Heavy duty double-sided sticky tape from Poundstretcher's car section. It costs only just over a pound. Cut a dozen or so 4 centimetre pieces and stick them to your old plate, peel off the green backing, line up your new plate then press it on. Really strong stuff.

Thanks to all for your interest and inputs.
