I am travelling from Zeebrugge to the Dordogne in August and am looking to stop for 3 nights in order to visit Eurodisney and Paris.

Can anyone please recommend a suitable Caravan Park?

Hi Gary

We have stayed at two sites close to Eurodisney. One is called Fontainebleau which I would highly recommend. The campsite is close to a railway station that takes you direct to Paris. From here you can take another train direct to Euro Disney. I've just looked on the Eurocamp Independent web site but there is no link to the site so I'm not sure if they will be there this season.

The other site is Berny Riviere this is a much bigger and more commercial site. They run trips by coach each week to Euro Disney. I think its on a Tuesday.

You love the Dordogne as well. We stayed at a site close to Sarlat. There are loads to do and see in the area.

Have a lovely holiday

Hi Garry

We stayed at Des 4 Vents, Crevecoeur-en-Brie. The site is listed in the Camping and Caravan Club Carefree Summer 2005 Brochure and can be booked through them.

The site is about 5 miles from Disneyland Paris and you can get back into the site after the late night Disney Parade. Adjacent to Disneyland is an RER railway station with a fast (35 min) link to central Paris (Gare de l'Est. There are a range of cheap train tickets and tickets to French museums, etc available from the station. You can park near the station.

Des 4 Vents is clean and set pleasantly in a shady orchard. It is quiet and set in peaceful countryside. A baker's van calls every morning but there is no shop on site or in the immediate vicinity. There are some games facillities and an outdoor pool but no other entertainment. The owners are friendly and helpful and speak English.

This site has been mentioned on this forum previously - you can look back.

Have a good holiday!

Hi Garry,

We have stayed at Disneylands's Davey Crockett Ranch several years ago which is about 10 mins drive from the main park but I'm not sure if they still take tourers.

We've also stayed at Bernie Riviere which is a nice park approx 1-1/4 hours from Disneyland.
