Caravan Park Nr Embleton

Dear friends does anyone know the name of the touring park that is situated on the coastal road just north of Craster and just before entering Embleton Northumberland. I stopped at the site last weekend but the iformation board at the gate had been removed. This is a nice looking site but im not sure if its changing hands. No one was around at the time to get any information from. Its not Proctors Stead Caravan Site, this one is further North just before Embleton.

Any suggestions would be of great help

We have stayed a few times at the Camping and Caravanning Club site called Dunstan Hill. Seems to fit your description. Good site for visiting that area.

Thanks John,

Dunstan Hill is on the left hand side while travelling North from Craster, this site is on the other side of the road further on mayebe on 0.5 to 0.75 of a mile further North. This shows up on google maps, thanks anyway John. As amatter of interest we spent last weekend at our base site in North Yorkshire the temparature was down to minus 7 degrees and still woke up sweating, thank god for hot water bottles my wife said, all four of them.

The Camping and Caravan Club Site is approximately half a mile south of Embleton on the Craster road and is on the left. Therefore this must be the site you have seen as you say it is on the right heading north.

Terrific site, enjoy!
