caravan parking

what are the laws regarding leaving a caravan parked in the street at the rear of my house bearing in mind this is not a major road any thoughts everyone thanks mick

The part which deals with on street parking says:

'Do not park your caravan:

where it may cause an obstruction

at night on a road without lights

in street parking bays as some local laws forbid this

at a parking meter, as caravans are not permitted

unless securely braked or chocked to prevent movement '

As a slight aside to this, if you are in council or housing association property you may have extra restrictions. It's always as well to check your tenancy as some prohibit or severely restrict the parking of caravans even within the garden. There may even be a covenant attached to the purchase of a council property which prevents or restricts the parking of caravans in gardens.

simple you cannot park a caravan on any road unless it is a private road in grounds
