Caravan parts how would i obtain them?

Hi all i have a Lunar Chateau 400 in excellent condtion, My problem is since they no longer make this model and chateau went into liquidation last year what would happen if the unit had a minor accident damaged panel or rear lights ect.

Did this topic not come up before?

The first port of call is Lunar who may still have some spare parts in stock. The next step is to source the manufacturer of the individual parts such as lights, as these are usually common across the industry. Jokon is a common make.

There are also some suppliers of spare parts from caravans broken up and these can be found in the magazines.

If all else fails then take a trip to Europe and try looking there. Chateau made a lot of vans and there will be still a load out there. Also if your van is not absolutely new, then it probably has stippled aluminium sides. This is now an advantage as these panels are again common and although getting the decals could be an issue, getting a new panel is less of a problem than with ABS panels.

As the owner of a van also made by the Tirus/Chateau Group, but not that particular make, I have the same potential problem. Best plan is to avoid getting any damage
