Caravan Replacement Window

The front windows on our Bailey Pageant 2003 Vendee have bubbled. Does anyone know of a source of replacement and how hard these are to fit. We have been quoted £200+ to replace one.

Thanks,

Sara

You can have windows made to measure - but you'll have to remove the old one to send/take as a pattern. The company is the Exhaust Ejector Company at Shelf near Halifax - http://www.eeco-ltd.co.uk/ odd name but they specialise in making caravan replacement windows. They can make the window to a colour to match your existing window.
We took ours out and drove down to them, and they made up another which took a few days - but ours was huge - 72 inches long! We boarded up the space left where the window was removed, and covered the caravan with a cheap cover from ebay (which we found of so much benefit in keeping the van clean that we've stuck to it permanently) whilst the window was removed, so that no-one was aware that it had a window missing! It wasn't difficult to remove or replace - they slide along the hinge sideways and can be taken off once all the fittings on the inside have been removed.

you could try a caravan breakers yard. One has an ebay shop here but the yard is at cresswell nr worksop.

The front Right window on my Vendee (2007) just after we bought it (11 Months old) had very small cracks around the latches. Tried to get this done through the dealer under warranty without success. E Mailed Bailey direct with pictures, they passed me onto the window supplier. Result was that the supplier agreed to replace for free, passed the E Mails to Chichester caravans they then got in touch with the window supplier and hey presto new window fitted for free.
So be don't be afraid to go back to Bailey.
