as a newbee can anyone help . I've had my caravan for 1 year now (not new van 6years old) must I put it into my dealer to get a service ? or can we do it ourself? what is the important things I must check when servicing it myself. (well dad is going to try )Can anyone please Help.

In all seriousness, unless you have the right equipment it is not worth taking the chance on doing it yourself.

It takes an experienced engineer 4 to 5 hours to fully service a caravan and needs certain tools and test equipment which quite simply are too expensive for once a year use, the torque wrench for example costs around
