Come on p c just looked through this months mag and theres not even a mention of the scottish caravan show. OK we all know the show is c**p and nowhere near as big or as good as the nec show, but surely even a small mention of something north of the border wouldnt hurt much. After all this is the only place we get to see at least 6 different manufacturers vans in the one place.

Jim,

Thanks for your comments.

We did offer some free tickets for the SECC show in the January issue, but granted, we didn't offer much coverage to the show in general. It's nothing personal - simply that we don't tend to cover any of the regional shows in much depth as we strive to appeal to as many readers as possible, in one go. That's why there is little coverage of shows at G-Mex, Cardiff, Three Counties showground and so on.

As for mentioning places north of the border, we've got a lot of Scottish travel features lined up for the coming year including trips to the western isles, Morvich and Skye, while last year, we had Great Escape features from the Highlands and Arran.

We try hard to represent as many regions as we can, but feel free to pick us up if you think we are missing something out.

Best Regards

Nothing personal - but Scotland is a country in its own right, not a region of England.

Bob T.

Sorry about the clumsy wording.

The NEC show is a larger show and that's why we concentrate our reporting efforts there.

Hope that makes sense

Nigel you give the Impression that Scotish caravaners are not interested in Glasgow show you in England only have 100 miles to Birmingham or Manchester A lot of us have a lot more to get to Glasgow so it has to do us big is not allways best

OK, I can see that - sorry if my earlier response seemed to miss the point, but we've never really covered smaller shows.

That's no reason for us not to in the future though.

Would any of you use a preview of your nearest show in a preceeding issue of the magazine or do you get information about it elsewhere?

What sort of information do you need about a show and what sort of stuff isn't of any interest?
