caravan spares or lack of them

Got A 2005 lunar galaxy (LEXON) The water pipe under the sink split, do you believe that lunar or 3 other caravan shops could not get me a replacement, i know they use odd sizes in caravans but wouldnt you think they would keep some sort of spares. Had to modify the pipework to get the repair sorted, so be carefull on what you buy and make sure they keep spares like this in stock. The pipe in question was a 10mm monobloc to a 1/2 inch female end.
 
Hmm - does seem a bit of a basic component to struggle with - especially when all caravans use the same diameter pipework. Did you swap to a domestic-sized fitting?
 
The pipework is 12mm, so had to put a compression fitting 12mm to 1/2" then a 15mm pipe to a push fitting 10mm monobloc pipe, was a bit confusing to say the least, but it worked ( fingers crossed )
