Anyone know where I can get some easy steps to my van for someone who is not too steady on their pins. I have the Milenco

double steps which is very good it would be nice if there were

3 steps at not such a high level between each one any out there ?

Haven't seen three steps, but here's a set with a handrail, which might help: http://www.homesteadcaravans.co.uk/cart.cfm?cat=77&section=320&top=steps&startstring=false. They're called the Dukdalf Mambo, manufactured by Dukdalf, so you may be able to find them locally.

Hi Steve, I am just about to make my own set of steps with three treads to allow my disabled daughter easier access into the van. I am a retired engineer with welding skils and a few years ago I made up a double step but as my daughters mobility had deteriorated three treads are needed. Each step has a width of 12", is made from 3/8" exterior ply and is fitted with non-slip tape.

The handrail is one of those Fiamma door security locks which swings out to give a solid hand hold.

Hi Tony

You have "hit the nail on the head" exactly what I am trying to buy commercially (if they exist) my wife has the same problem

in finding that the two step solution results in the steps being

too high between each other.

Steve,

Ask around your area and see if there is a local welder. I am sure he could make one for you and it should not take very long. I would take your Milenco along to give him a guide. You could ask him to put say 2 inch square feet on each leg to make it more secure and stop it sinking into the ground.

Hope you are successfull.
