caravan storage in west dorset

Does anyone know of storage facilities for caravans in West Dorset, preferably undercover and not too expensive - ours has gone up a whopping £100 a year to £600. It is very good - nice flat base to push the van on and proper washing facilities- but I think the price is a bit steep now.

600 for good storage in Dorset doesn't sound any worse than ours. In Cheshire we are paying 520 + vat at 17.5%. The storage is very good and secure. We use to store on a patch of land with high fences bodered on three sides by the canal, a major road and the main railway line. It was nearly 200 cheaper but the caravan was always filthy and we had to take it home and wash it nearly every time we wanted to use it. The only facility was a cold water tap. If you change storage it might be out of the frying pan into the fire!

You don't say exactly where you want be in West Dorset, but you could try Kings Down Tail near Salcombe Regis and Branscombe. It's a touring site with a storage facility as well. We've actually just come back from a from a few days there. Telephone is 01297 68013. Owners are Mike and Sue.
