Thank'sYou'll need to check the load rating of your existing tyres, assuming they're correct - it's the 2/3 digit number in the 80-110 range that's part of the tyre "size".
eg 165/80 13 R92 - the 92 is the load rating - you can use higher rated but not lower than you need.
Your tyres are dangerously out of date, 5 years max is recomended. Tyres are date coded, e.g I had new tyres for my car yesterday, code is 4707. i.e. week 47 of 2007. Also tyres are rated with a load index, e.g. my caravan is 91 which relates to the load it can carry at a certain speed rating. The bigger the number the better. All tyres have these numbers, sometime you have to seach for them. Also check the date of manufacture - I am not sure how the date is coded on the tyre wall but it is there. Generally it is recommended that tyres should not be more than 5 years old - very often over that age the rubber could perish.
