Hi, Where the wallpaper joins, there are strips of wallpaper covering the joins and these strips are coming unstuck and peeling. I tried to stick it back with craft glue, but the wallcovering is quite stiff and just rolls back. Anyone had this problem and if so any suggestions as to what sort of glue to use. This has happened with almost every join so it is starting to look quite scruffy. Thanks Denise.

Hi Denise

Apparently, it can be stripped off like wallpaper and re-papered!

Just a thought - have you tried some of that wallpaper repair paste you can get, ready-mixed? Should be a sight stronger than Pritt Stick!

Thanks Mac, will try the stronger glue. It might look better if I peel off these strips and just leave the join showing. A bit backward putting the strips on because you then have two joins. You would think I would have something better to do wouldn't you!!!

Hi Denise

Try using a PVA adhesive such as Unibond, you will probably have to hold the paper down for a while but once it sets you will be OK

Hi Denise

This happened to my 2 year old Lunar Lexon EW started in the Bathroom, just curling up at the edges. The dealer has replace all the joining strips in the van with a plastic slightly curved strips. Theses fix to the ceiling joint and the strip pops over the top. This system is used by Baily and is far superior to the Lunar strips. Its a known issue with Lunar and mine was done on warranty, it looks good too.

Hi Jim, Thats the exact problem I've got and our van is a Lunar Quasar 2005. We bought it when it was 6 months old, a private sale and the warranty isn't transferable. I am going to get some stronger glue and stick the edges back. No doubt they will peel again sometine and maybe I will look at the strips that you have got. Not all bad news though, the van has just been for its 3rd service and no faults found and NO DAMP found - so its not a leaky lunar!!! Regards Denise.
