Caravan weight and tyre pressure

Hi

Im fairly new to caravaning, we are just about to take our 3rd trip away, i need some advise on the weight of our caravan and what tyre pressure should we have.

We have a Compass Omega 400/2 1991, iv looked at the plate on the van and it doesnt say the weight, does anyone have any idea what it is?

We are running with 175R13 C 8 ply tyres any one have an idea of the correct pressure?

Look at the tyre sidewall and they will give you the max pressure. With modern Explorer vans the handbook says to inflate to that tyre pressure, doesn't take into account the weights of the various models that the handbook covers, don't know about the older models. You really SHOULD find the weight of your van first, how do you know what weight you're towing, how much payload you are allowed and if you're actually legal.
