YES is the answer to your question. Used an awning for about twenty years when there were four of us, now it is only two. Changed to a two berth, fitted a Caravanstore canopy and an attachable "side". There is also the zip version which when complete will give you a complete awning. Don't overlook a porch awning before you make a purchase

hi rob, we use a caravanstore slid up next to our midi awning on our twin axle. we have found it great, but be warned make sure you anchor it down well! last year i only put normal pegs into the feet (not rock pegs) and when we where out a gust of wind blew the canopy which swung over the top off our van leaving a hole in the off-side panel where the leg stopped!! have since made sure that it is anchored well with two rock pegs on either leg and had no problem. the hole incidently made a great place on which to locate an outside ariel point, and hence didn't need a whole new panel on the van.

Very good and easy to use but suggest you use an awning tie-down strap if there is any chance of wind. Those of 3.1m and wider have one or more "rafters" which can be a little difficult to extend and tighten all at the same time, particularly if you do not have particularly strong hand grip.

We also use a Caravanstore. OH has made "plates" to fit round the feet so they can be pegged down better. I see Fiamma also sell them now. Each plate has 4 pegholes. We also always use a guyline on each leg, and an awning tie-down over the front if it is very windy.
