Not as far as I know.

They must be fitted with a smoke detector though.

With the exception of the gas cooker, all other gas appliances must be room sealed, leaving very little chance of problems relating to co ingress.
 
No, I don't think there is any legislation although it is a good idea to have one.

We take the one we have at home with us when we are away in the van.
 
Buy one. We had a problem with what I thought was the smoke alarm when using the grill. Alarm sounded, pressed the button wouldn't stop. Took the battery out still sounded. Turned out to be the previously unheard CO detector New grill under warranty.. the grill was throwing it out!!!!!
