Cardiff show

Anyone going to the Cardiff caravan Show at the weekend? It had faded a bit over the last couple of years, but it's in a new venue at the Millenium Stadium this year, so should be improved.

We'll be there on Friday.

Emmerson - I very rarely go to any of these shows as I am of the opinion it is a damn cheek. The traders are there to show off their products on the hope that Joe Public will buy them. Fair enough but why then charge to go and see their products which they have for sale. Would you pay to go to a caravan/car dealer to have a look at a new caravan/car before buying one. I certailnly wouldn't. Therefore it appears to make me more tightfisted than you by using concessionary reduced entry fees. I don't pay any fees. If they want my business it is at my terms - obviously one must not be too stroppy in negotiating terms and there has to be give and take on both sides.

Her Ladyship would like to go to the show at the NEC but as we aren't in the market for a caravan I can't see the point. I believe if you are looking for a new van though it's a great way to see all makes and models under one roof to help you choose.

I went to Crufts two years on the trot, same thing, it was seeing the same as last year so now don't bother but Her Ladyship loves it. She now goes with a friend.

we dont bother any more i find you get people sitting in the caravan lounge area , having a good old chin wag completley anaware that you exist, so you dont get to see the caravan any way far better to go the dealers

Crufts is about dogs not horses

Weel, we went to the Cardiff show, and all I can say is if anyone else is planning on going, don't bother! It was abysmal! Bitter cold, and nothing worth seeing. Huge empty spaces, and not many public, and the exhibitors moaning about the cold. Lots of cold concrete, and really, a complete waste of
